Sleepy Wrap

The Sleepy Wrap carrier is an innovative way to hold your baby when he is sleeping, when you are out and about or trying to get things done at home. You've all seen the front carriers or backpacks which make carrying your child easier, but the Sleepy Wrap is a different type of product. The purpose is the same, but the "ride" is much softer and pliable for your child. The fabric is a french terry cloth and is very comfortable for you and baby.

We have a front carrier by Baby Bjorn which we use quite a bit. Sleepy Wrap sent me one of their carriers to try out and I definitely liked it. It's soft and conforms to your figure as well as baby's. My son was comfortable in it and just hung out while I did some work around the house. It's very basic, just a long piece of stretchy and soft material which you wrap up in a special way. While I do like this product, I have to admit, I prefer our other front carrier.

The Sleepy Wrap came with instructions which were not in English which was difficult. I had to figure out how to wrap the carrier on my body by using some pictures-this was a definite downside. I found out later that this was an error and the company assured me it had been remedied for future orders. Once I finally figured it out and got my son in it, it was a nice carrier and the price (at only $39.95) was definitely more affordable than other carriers. However, our other carrier is much faster to put on and then I'm on my way. I am giving this item a FOUR star because the instructions were impossible (although remember it wasn't what is usually sent) and it takes time to get this carrier on. Once you become used to it, however, I'm sure it's faster. It's definitely a great product and one which you will use often if you have one!

Fisher-Price Papasan Cradle Swing - My Little Lamb

The Fisher-Price Papasan Cradle Swing is phenomenal! I am giving this a HIGH five-star rating! We used to have the older version of this swing, the Nature's Touch Papasan and loved it. We purchased that one five years ago and the motor just went on it and we needed a new swing for our five month old.

We tried another swing from Fisher-Price, see review of Ocean Wonders Swing, but were very disappointed. The My Little Lamb swing is a wonder for any baby. It surrounds them in plush softness and has so much width and space for them to get comfy! This is what a REAL papasan swing is meant to be! It has plenty of music options, a rotating mobile with a mirror, and the ability to swing either side to side or front to back.

Literally, the only drawback to this swing is that is doesn't have an A/C adaptor option. Invest in a lot of batteries, buy them in bulk if you have to, but don't miss out on this sensational swing which your baby will hardly ever want to leave! I want to get in it and snuggle up myself! Do they make these in adult sizes????

Fisher-Price Ocean Wonders Cradle Swing

When our Fisher Price Nature's Touch Papasan swing's motor recently burnt out, we were faced with the immediate need to purchase a new swing for our five month old. Keep in mind, we bought this swing for our, now, four year old when he was a baby and it's lasted this long.

However, we needed a new swing and FAST. So, we read some reviews and decided to purchase the Fisher-Price Ocean Wonders Cradle Swing. In all honesty, the only reason we chose this particular swing was that it came with an A/C adaptor and we liked the idea of not plowing through batteries any more.

We made a HUGE mistake. I am giving this swing a two star rating. The swing seems very cheaply made first off. I was very surprised as I am normally a huge supporter of Fisher-Price products. When I went to put my son in the swing, it is extremely narrow. So much so, that his arms hung over the sides. On top of that, there is a bar which MUST be between their legs which isn't at all comfortable. When I turned it on, I had to use the highest setting for my 14 lb. baby and it barely swayed. The weight limit is for babies over 25 lbs., so this didn't make any sense to me. Needless to say, we took this swing right back and purchased the Fisher-Price Papasan Cradle Swing - My Little Lamb, which we should have purchased to begin with. Back to batteries, but well worth the switch back. Please see our review of this product.
